Arthur glared down at Sophia, who seemed so unlike the quiet meek girl he had spent all day with it was hard to believe they were one and the same. His cheek stung, and he was surprised to find that such a dainty hand could have such a force behind it. He guess he deserved it a little, but that didn't mean he was going to forgive and forget.
"How dare you!?" He bellowed, the shock of what had just happened showing in his voice. "How dare you strike me in my own castle!?"
She seemingly ignored his words, spitting her own out with such venom Arthur was quite apalled. She really couldn't see that she was the one causing her own misery and yet if his plan had only worked...
"You know Sophia, I was quite enjoying spending time with you. Now though, I see that my first impression of you was right. You are nothing but a self centered little Princess who believes everything her daddy says. Go back to Cenred. No one wants you here!"
And wth that Arthur turned on his heel and stormed out, the spoon he had left between them wiggling gently on the floor.

Sophia stared at his retreating back. “I wouldn't have slapped you in your own castle if I hadn't been sent here against my will!” she yelled after him. “I liked you as well, at least until you showed your true colors! You're so full of yourself you can't even see the truth, and you don't even care that a royal visitor is being tortured by an evil mage! Some king you'll be! No wonder your father wants me to marry you … I am more fit to rule than you are … and I'm just sixteen!”
A clattering on the floor alerted her to the fact that the spoon was twitching convulsively. “Stop it!” she shouted. “Whoever you are … STOP IT!”
Immediately the spoon lay still.
Glancing around her, her eyes wide with fear, Sophia realised that the person who was terrorizing her was somewhere close by, and that only infuriated her more.
“LEAVE ME ALONE!” she screamed and strode out of the small room, her fists clenched at her side.
The young princess was so intent on her own rage and fear … and finding her way back to her chambers … that she did not even notice the spoon rise into the air, follow her out of the room, and hurl itself through the nearest window, shattering the glass to smithereens.
