Henry stopped and turned to face Dante. "What is it Grixis?" He sighed, he had had enough now and he just wanted to get back to a few familiar faces. Or perhaps "earn" himself some money.
This is better be good he thought so himself and grimaced waiting for the mans reply.
The wind was blowing, and not for the first time this autumn Henry began to think about winter. He was currently staying wherever he could find shelter, and it wasnt going to be easy to find places when all the street kids needed homes, they were at the top of the list and he was at the bottom.
"Come on!" Henry urged at Dante, he wanted to get away.

Dante paused. He had to word this correctly or its meaning would be lost, loosing a potential friend, a rare thing for him. He sighed. "I just wanted to tell you that...well I live in the slums for a real reason. Low's don't want me because I have money, the nobles don't because of how I get it. I am an assassin, kill to make my money." He paused again, the wind blowing his hood to one side of his face.
"Just wanted to let you know, so if you do decide to hate me its for the real reason, not the fabricated one." he said. And waited for Henry's reply.

"And?" Dante seemed to think it was a surprise for Henry to meet an assassin. In actuality Henry knew several who worked for The Brotherhood as assassins and more who worked as thieves. Hell, he was one of them.
"Dante, I'm a low. I belong to the brotherhood too, although I myself am not an assassin. Where you come from it might be unusual. Here in the city it would be unusual, but back in the lows- its not." Henry was grateful there was no one else in the narrow street. The king was already suspicious of The Brotherhood and anyone who might even suggest they knew a rogue was liable to be executed. "But you should be more careful who you tell. Uther Pendragon doesn't look kindly on anyone he suspects to be in leagues with The Dark Knight." He smiled, "And don't worry I hate you for who you are not what you are. I'll see you around?"

"King Uther looks kindly on no one." He replied and smiled at Henry's last comment. "Yeah, see you around Henry." He said and walked away.
He needed to stop drinking. His tongue got too loose when he drank, but he knew he couldn't resist the sweet call of ale for forever.

Henry smiled. For the first time all day he actually felt that Dante had a shred of sincerity and that he wasn't just a jumped up fool.
He walked away feeling that for once, despite his hostile attitude and harsh outer shell, he had made a friend. Someone had looked past his barriers and not shied away. It was a good feeling, but one that was quickly brushed aside by the loud rumbles from his stomach. He hadn't eaten all day, and the day before had been a meal of dried meat and stale bread. It wasn't possible to feed himself properly on the mere pennies he stole from pockets in the marketplace. He needed to go bigger. More daring. Otherwise he feared he would die. That was why he had joined The Brotherhood, so he could gain the skills he needed to steal from nobles and rich merchants. Maybe even the castle.
Dante was a mere speck in the distance now and Henry headed towards the castle kitchens.
