Cailean rolls her eyes. It’s as simple as that. Despite the fact that he seemed eager to talk to her, and learn of her, well, it simply wasn’t flying with Cailean, nor was it something she wished to indulge in, let alone with someone who thought himself clever when in all actuality, well, it wasn’t exactly true. Despite the coins he’d sifted through her fingers, he seemed all too eager to forget that he was at her mercy, so attitude should be the last thing he was giving her.
“If you don’t know already, I don’t think you need to know,” she answers truthfully. She’d been situated within this shop for some time now, and while her advertisement was mostly by word-of-mouth that’s all she’s truly needed.
Still, her mouth purses, and the girl appears to be almost irritated then and there, “I know you’re attempting to purposefully avoid my questions,” she mutters, then, “I may be a woman, but I’m not stupid.”

Dreamer lifted an eyebrow and cocked his head slightly, a look of curiosity, "And you find them to be compatible in comparison?" Dreamer went on to say, " I can name two, no three, right now whom would take insult to such an opinion, two would have you dead, i suppose one would be in front of me. Correct?". Dreamer shifted himself into a more comfortable position, or so it would appear, really he was buying time to think. True, there wasn't really any harm in divulging his status to the woman. Its not like she was any true threat to him at the moment, yet there could be consequences.
When one discovers that they are in the presence of a mage, one who has obtained the powers of two branches of magic, they often show fear or respect. Dreamer had no wish to have the woman submit to such a thing, especially when fear was the most common he was met with. At his age, it was deemed impossible to achieve even the status of mage. It was incorrect, simply because there were three, Merlin, Chase, and himself. Fear was brought to him simply because he was uncommon, an uncommon mage, and despite his best efforts, not many saw pass that.
"She may be different" Dreamer thought, "She has potential, no fear, no respect, its almost perfect, if only i knew her better". It was impossible though, already the woman was uncomfortable at even the slightest hint of turning the subject on her. Dreamer would never be able to learn anything from her, until she learned something from him. Dreamer sighed before he spoke, "You really want to know who i am?". It was a rhetorical question, Dreamer already knew he was going to tell her.
"My name is Dreamer, and i am a twice ranked Mage of the Mage guild".
Move made, Dreamer watched.

“Oh,” Cailean finds herself muttering in reply to his confession. A single hand lifts upwards to smother upon the soft swell of her pout, if only for the shortest of moments. She’s left to considering all he’d told her, though truth be told, she wasn’t sure what to make of his words. Cailean didn’t know much of mages, nor what they even behaved like. Though from meeting this boy alone, they seemed to come off as the slightest bit panicky.
So what did that mean for Cailean? Perhaps it meant that she should keep her mouth closed. Perhaps she should behave herself better around this boy. No doubt he would be able to light her on fire with his mind, or something of the like. Though truth be told, Cailean wasn’t one of those girls. She’d fended for herself from a young age, and she was more than capable of tending to her own needs, which may include an unwarranted attack from some hot-headed mage. Though Cailean truly didn’t stand much a chance, her own powers were meager at best.
Not to mention the fact that they weren’t exactly the offensive type.
Her shoulders lift, “Do you expect me to fear you?” she asks of him suddenly, her brows lifted, and those dark eyes of hers settled upon strange features.

"Yes" Dreamer spoke the truth when he said that, he was too used to people fearing or hating him. There was a curse hidden in his gift, and it was one of loneliness. It was rare to find someone who would accept him when they knew who he was. Watching the girl, her reaction was the very one he had feared. She was unsure and didn't know what to say or how to act. As she asked her question, Her eyes peered directly into his, and that was when he realized his hair was pulled to the side. Dreamer quickly covered his golden eye with his hair. He was self-conscious of the feature, because it was unheard of. It was uncommon alone to see someone with two different eye colors, but one being that of gold was impossible. Yet there he was, a living proof of the possibilities in the impossible. "I'm sorry" he mumbles for a moment, grasping the situation he begins to speak after a moment. "I urge you not to fear me, nor to even respect me, i ask nothing of you" he said.

Cailean laughed.
It was an amusing notion that she should fear or respect someone simply because they knew magic. And, sure, at one point magic had been forbidden, and even punishable by death, though that didn’t mean it was anything worth fearing. Cailean, herself, had been birthed with some semblance of skills that could be considered super natural. Though perhaps it wasn’t nearly as powerful as this boy’s skills, it was something which no others she knew of possessed.
Still, her bare shoulders lift once more, and her fingertips smooth easily upon the bare lift of her shoulders, “Perhaps had we met under different circumstances,” she muses with yet another lift of her shoulders, “Though it’s difficult to fear a boy who has invaded my shop, seeking sanctuary,” she allows for an easy smile to pull upon the wide set of her mouth. Did the statement truly need to be finished? It was obvious what Cailean thought of this boy, there was no need to rub it in, and potentially anger the boy.

“Though it’s difficult to fear a boy who has invaded my shop, seeking sanctuary,”
Dreamer looked at the woman, puzzled, had he heard her tone correctly? It was not one of fear, hatred, respect, none that would cause him to grow uninterested in their conversation. Instead he heard the slightest sound of amusement in her voice, she may have even be talking down to him.
What a new notion.
Honestly it felt nice, alongside annoying, he couldn't be quite sure which one to be sure of. One one side, it felt nice to be seen as a regular teenager again. Then again, regular teen or not, it was insulting to be looked down upon. Dreamer shrugged it off and smiled, looking at the woman he said, "Your turn".

Juliet’s shoulders give an absent sort of shrug as he turned the question onto her. What did he want to know? What was there to tell him? Despite having some strange talents, there truly wasn’t much that made Cailean someone worth knowing. She was twenty-some summers old, still lived with her father, and spent most her days within this shop, or in the market square of Camelot.
Money, it’s what everyone needed within this part of town, but no one could seem to grasp hold of it for long.
Cailean wasn’t a learned woman, though by no means was she some sort of simple, and while she was doing all she could to keep hold of those elusive coins, not even she could seem to do such. Perhaps it was because a good amount of that coin went to keeping her own father well, though would things change after he passed? Cailean is none too sure, and in all truth, while Cailean enjoyed the finer things in life, she was none too eager to find out. Though she imagined that she would be discovering what it was like to keep her pockets a slight heavier sometime within the near future.
“I am not sure what to tell you,” Cailean confesses with another grin blooming upon her soft mouth. Her hands shift only for fingertips to brush upon barely freckled shoulders, and thereafter back to thread throughout her own hair absently, before her hand was falling back toward the tabletop where her fingers drum, “As you may have figured, I am not a prostitute,” Cailean eases with ease and a lift to her brows, “Though… I am a soothsayer,” which is to say that she could read his future.
Well, maybe.
At the very least she could lie to him about it.

"Soothsayer?" Dreamer said, he turned his head to the head slightly, an odd habit he had indicating confusion. He had not seen that coming, he didn't suspect the woman would have the gift of magic as well. It shouldn't have been such a surprise to him, he knew that not every user registered with the guild, yet he couldn't stop himself.
From confusion to curiosity, Dreamer wanted to know the extent of her abilities. If she was whom she said she was, then she could see his future. To have such knowledge would be vastly usefull, as well as interesting. If only he were to know what was in store for him.
Then he had a thought, what would his future be?
He had assumed for a moment that his future may be bright, maybe even interesting. What if it was dark, and he was to discover something he shouldn't? It scared him, to think that something evil could cloud his future and control him. The only reference to that was his Dark magic inside him, which he had only recently begun to gather control over. Though, the nightmares still had not cleared.
Then again, maybe the women would see nothing?
"Do you mind if i have a reading?" Dreamer asked.

“I can read the future?” Cosette offers up, in reply to the young man’s apparent confusion. Her own brows lift, and her head inclines in such a manner to convey her own confusion. If he was a mage, certainly he would have known what it was that a soothsayer did. Though she could be wrong, and maybe she was just giving him a little too much credit.
Whatever the case was, all sense of confusion should be dispelled then and there.
“I imagine I could,” Cailean reasons with an almost nonchalant shrug to her delicate shoulders. It certainly wouldn’t hurt anything, that was for certain, and it’s not as though she could waste any more time than she already was! Her palm offers upwards, for his hand to settle within her own, as that’s what most people seemed to think needed to happen in order for their futures to be read.
Why not indulge.

She placed her hands out, palms up, and waited for him. Dreamer watched for a moment, enjoying a flashback memory he had of a fortune teller in his old caravan. The caravan he often forgot about, the very one he had been raised in most of his life. Granny Helga was the fortune tellers name, and like Cailean, she placed her palms down and closed her eyes. Dreamer knew for a fact that the woman was simply good at reading people, and conned people by having them fill in the blanks of whatever she was told.
She was referred to as the fortune bandit among the caravan.
Dreamer wasn't skeptical of Cailean's abilities though, he knew that each mage had their own way of harnessing their magic. Like him, he sang his spells, so why would it be impossible that Cailean needed a little drama to use her power? Dreamer placed his hands on hers and closed his eyes, waiting for her words to come and tell him his fate.

For someone who lived in what could be considered a generally poor part of town, Cailean’s hands were remarkably soft, small, too, it was the simple fact that her own father had given all to keep her from finding herself within some bordello, or working upon the streets, scraping pennies from between the cobblestones. He’d been able to give her a very different life than what could be considered the norm within the slums. Though that’s not to say her life had been easy, or even charmed. Cailean had likewise worked hard to get where she was now, and while fortune telling hadn’t always been something she’d mulled over doing as a child, it was what she was doing now, and she was pleased to have that option. To live as she wished without some mistress hovering over her, monitoring what she was doing, and then demanding a cut of her wages at day’s end. Soon enough, though, Cailean’s hands were being filled with this boys own, and her head lolls to peer upon him almost expectantly. A single eye pinches shut, though she still stares upon the young man almost expectantly, as though she were accustomed to everything simply flowing. Though the truth of the matter, was, that she wasn’t. The days when she was genuinely able to read someone were few and far between. There was Joscelin, and Aemon, for two, and even a small handful of people whom were kind enough to frequent her shop, but beyond that, Cailean found herself lying more often than not. (OOC: You’re gonna have to tell me what Dreamer wants to know, cuz I’m not actually psychic. )

Dreamer waited for Cailean to uncover his fate, to see his path, or whichever other statement that would fit. He sat there, and waited. He tried not to twitch, to turn, to make a movement other than breathing. He didnt want to be impolite and look skepticle , yet he did not want to seem too excited. He had no reason to do so other than his curiosity.
He was waiting to hear a sound or feel a twitch, some indication that something was happening. Psychic magic was differant from other fields of magic, more so becouse it was harder to decifer. Eventually he grew to curios and had to open an eye.
