Switched?! (Legend)

[Felicity Wood]

Felicity waited with impatience for Legend to arrive. He had agreed to teach her some new spells and she couldn't wait to get started. She also wanted to see him terribly. He had just confessed his love for her a few days beforehand and she was interested to see where they stood. Were they officially together or did he want to continue as friends for a while? Felicity was new to this sort of thing so she needed his opinion.

Felicity was also a bit frightened. The last time she was in these woods she was attacked. What if it happened again before Legend even got there to save her? She was not in possession of any weapons, had little stength or skill in fighting, and she was still learning magic. Oh, she hoped Legend would arrive soon.

"Ignis..." she whispered, a flame appearing in her hand. Thanks to Legend, she had that one mastered.

Legend ran over to Felicity. He came to stand by her he leaned in and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. Then he stood back and said, "Sorry I'm late." He noticed the flame in her hand and beamed, "Congratulations!"
"What would you like to learn about today, lovely Felicity?" he asked. He sat down and looked at her and smiled, her loved looking at her face that he said was beautiful. He waited for her answer, a smile on his face. His hazel eyes locked on her.

Felicity was still blushing from the kiss on the cheek. A man had never kissed her anywhere other than her hand, so this was a new and pleasant experience. Especially since hte kiss had been given to her by the one she loved.

"Is there a spell that teaches once to switch things?" Felicity wondered if her question made any sense to Legend. "Do you know what I mean?"

Felicity wanted to be able to possibly switch a rock into a plant or something like that. She wasn't sure if it was possible, but the thought intrigued her.

"Actually," Legend grinned, "There is." He looked at a rock and said, "Muto sato." The rock bulged then transformed into a plant. "How was that, lovely?" Legend asked, hoping she'd be impressed. He said, "What were you thinking of switching?"
He loved it when she blushed, she looked so sweetly innocent. He couldn't resist and waved a hand making a daisy appear in her hair. He smiled shyly, his eyes showing affection.

"Yes! Thats exactly what I meant!" Felicity exclaimed, looking at the new plant with amazement in her eyes. She was still so amazed by Legends abilities. She was glad that she had him as a teacher and now a lover.

Felicity felt a flower appear in her hair, exactly the way it had at Lady Ravens birthday celebration. She still had that flower and was pleased to add another to the collection. She charished everything he had given her. Knowledge, Friendship, and love. He was absolutly perfect.

Felicity kissed his cheek, shyly. "Thank you...." she whispered.

Legend blushed deep crimson and then leaned down and dropped a quick kiss on the side of her lips, more toward her cheeks.
Then he grinned shyly and leaped to his feet and began to walk around her like he did on their first day meeting.
"Now when you are ready look at the plant and try to change it to a rock." He paused and then went on when he'd composed himself again, "Mutare plantam petram are the words that you must say."

(OOC: since Felicity switches herself and Legend you might want to have her say, et mutare te at one point.)

Felicity was blushing a deep shade of scarlotte after the kiss. Did that really just happen? She smiled brightly, her brown eyes shining. She couldn't wait to get started!

The girl looked at the plant and began to concentrate really hard. She wanted to impress him with the spell. She scked in a deep breath and gave Legend a smile.

"et mutare te!" she whispered, hoping that she had the spell right. She felt an odd sensation within her, like she was leaving herself.

"What the..?" Legend started, but he also felt the same sensation Felicity was feeling. Something had gone wrong, that was obvious.

He felt different, weird. "Felicity?" He asked, his voice sounding a little different. "What did you do? What did you say?"

Felicity felt a bit taller than normal and it took a second for her to realize that she was face to face with a girl. A girl that looked exactly like herself. Had she turned Legend into a girl by mistake?!

"I-I...Oh my...What?!" Felicity's voice sounded deeper. It sounded like Legends voice. How was this even possible? Was she Legend?! No. This couldn't be.

"A-All I said was....et mutare te!" she replied, feeling spooked now. "That...That was right....wasn't it?" Obviously not.

Legend was facing himself. For a moment he was so very confused, then he realized what Felicity had said. He mentally translated it from Latin to English, he did this several times, as he couldn't believe it. "How did you know that?" He asked, his voice stricken with puzzlement. "What you said, translates to English as 'switch you and I'. My question is how did you get that out of Mutare plantam petram" He laughed softly, realizing that his voice sounded high, like Felicity's. "Felicity I think you switched us." Legend said, his worry clear. "And I don't know how to change us back."

"Oh no!" Felicity exclaimed, eyes wide. She and Legend were switched! What were they going to do? Felicity looked at Legend-herself- and felt herself start to panick slightly.

"Legend I'm so sorry!" she said frantically, "I didn't mean to, I swear! I am so sorry!"

Felicity had no idea how she had gotten that mixed up, but she knew that it had caused a major problem and she had to fix it or she and Legend would be switched forever.

"Don't you have a spell book or anything?" she asked tentively. It was so strange, being in Legends body....having his voice....This had to be fixed.

Legend shook his head, "There is nothing that I know of, we can try asking Merlin but I don't think he will know. I know I have no idea what to do."

It felt extremly strange hearing Felicity's voice come out of his own mouth, especially since she was standing in front of him with his body, but she still had her eyes. Which meant Legend still had his own. He sighed and looked around. "No need to apologize, it is fine, we'll find a way to get out of this I promise."

Felicity hoped that they would be able to get out of this terrible situation that she had landed them in with her terrible mistake. She would just die if she knew that she had ruined Legends life along with her own all at once.

"Merlin....I've met him once at the market." Felicity nodded, "He might be able to help. We'll just have to find him and hope that he can."

Felicity was so grateful that Legend wasn't angry with her. She really did mess things u, but he was still there by her side, not giving up. Despite the situation, she smiled a little. She almost wanted to laugh as well.

Perhaps it was to ease her nerves or because the situation was just so far beyond what she could have ever imagined. Still, she was able to keep it from escaping her.

Legend nodded, "He might, but don't you - I mean don't I have to go and wait on Lady Raven? And you have to go meet Chase in the forest, I was planning to train with him today..."

Legend looked worried. This wasn't going to work out well, he just knew it. If he went to Lady Raven sounding and looking like Felicity but was Legend she might not be too pleased if she found out, but then again duty came first, didn't it? The thing with Chase could wait, unless Felicity wanted to train with him and get better at her magic.

But then Chase would suspect something when "Legend's" spells weren't working out well. Then Felicity would have to tell him what had happened. Legend smiled at the thought of the look on Chase's face and choked on a laugh.

"Oh, right! I can't miss work! Lady Raven is expecting me soon and we don't even know where Merlin is or if he'll be able to help us!" Felicity's eyebrows knitted together as she pondered the terrible situation that was sure to arise.

Felicity didn't want Legend to have to do her servant duties and she didn't want to make him look terible at magic, but what other choice did they have at this point? Still, the thought of using magic again made her a bit queezy. She really didn't want to end up causing more trouble than she already had.

"but....I don't want to make an even bigger mess of things if I try to go in your place in training."Felicity said, flushing at the thought.
