(Chase, Legend, Lillian, Felicity)
Phantom paced the ground by the side of the river. He wasn't doing anything at all, just walking back and forth. He wasn't even thinking, if that's possible. His face was expressionless. He didn't even glance at the scene around him. His gaze was stuck to the ground. He didn't even looked up as a hawk soared over head, screeching as it went. He didn't even hear the foot steps coming up behind him. He realized the other person when he turned to walk the other way almost smacking into them.

Felicty was bored out of her mind. Nothing to do at her place and none of her friends were in site. A walk was in order for such a moment. She let out a small sigh as she headed near the river. She didn't go to the river often. She noticed a man in a mask there and was contemplating on if she should just leave, not wanting to disturb the gentleman.
It was too late, he turned around, almost smacking into her. She gave him a small smile, laughing a little. She admired the mask. It was wonderful, actually.
"My apologies, Sir." she said with a small curtsy, "I don't mean to disturb you...."Felicity wondered if she should leave, but stood where she was.

Phantom took a step back and looked at the young girl, with no curiosity.
"My apologies, Sir. I don't mean to disturb you...."
The young lady had apologized simply. Phantom's face remained expressionless, but he secretly admired her manners. He chuckled slightly. "You did not disturb me, young lady, actually, I wasn't doing much of anything," he thought for a brief moment, "If it is possible, I don't believe that I was thinking at all." Seeing her peer at the mask for a moment he spoke once more, but now instead of his voice being gentle like it had before it was cold and think with warning: "Never take off the mask, in fact, never touch it. That is why I'm here, in Camelot. Not that I don't like it. My own brother took the mask off and both he and my mother were afraid of me. I will never let anyone touch, it would do you good to remember that."

Felicity tried not to look frightened. This man was quite scary, though. She was afraid to even look at his mask now. She didn't want to do the wrong thing. If she made this man angry, she didn't know what she would do.
He was obviously a lot stronger than she was and it was apparent that nobody would hear her out here if she screamed. She just wanted to stay calm.
"Ummm....What is your name?" she asked, trying to sound brave. "My name is felicity Wood."
Felicity did not want to judge the gentleman before getting to know him. That would just be wrong and unlike her. She gave him a small friendly smile. Perhaps the two could be friends. She hoped so.

Phantom sensed her slight doubt as she asked him his name, telling him her name was Felicity Wood. He thought for a moment, Felicity. Indeed that was a pretty name, and it seemed perfect for the girl that stood in front of him. Completely oblivious to what he was saying he replied, "My name is Erik Opera, known to most as Phantom," still not knowing what he was saying Phantom continued, "I had a happy life in Mercia until the accident at the barn. I had been taking care of the horses when the barn caught fire. I found out too late that the barn had burst into flames. The fire burned this side of my face, " he gestured to the mask, "From then on I wore this mask, never let anyone see the horror underneath. I gained the nickname Phantom from my quiet footsteps and dark cloak. The only person to ever go against my word of warning to not touch the mask was my own brother, Ranger. I had visited him and my mother and he had just been joking when he tore in from my face, paying my protests no mind. As the mask fell from his hand limply my mother screamed and dragged Ranger inside." he turned away from her, "My own mother feared me, my brother's face had turned white in horror as he had taken the mask from my face. I left them permanently then, I will never return and see them. Never." Now Phantom realized what he had just told Felicity and growled mentally to himself, he didn't want to be rude to say anything out loud, so he just looked at her, my eyes rather sad at the memory at his mother's and brother's fear, he hoped she would not judge him by the way he looked now...

Felicity swallowed, looking at him with sad eyes. She didn't know what to say, for his story filled her with such sarrow. She felt strong sympathy for the man after hearing his story. She knew that she wouldn't be able to handle something so aweful that easilly. She gave him a small smile, before looking sad agaion.
"I'm so sorry..." she told him. She doubted that his face would scare her away. She liked to look at people for who they were and he didn't seem hideous at all. He seemed very kind and his appearence didn't matter to her. If he were the most handsom man in the world and a complete arrogant prat, she would see him as a hideous fool. That was the way felicity was.

Phantom say the true sadness in her eyes as she looked at him as he turned back to her. He saw the small smile cross her face before she looked sorrow filled again.
I'm so sorry...
At that Phantom was filled with true surprise. No one, no one at all, had felt sorry for him, not his mother, not his brother, no one. Of course he'd told his story to no one but Felicity. But as she said those words, they really meant something to Phantom. All he could say was, "You don't know how much those words mean to me."

Legend strode along the bank of the river. With nothing really to do he picked up a few stones and watched them skip across the somewhat calm river. A litter farther down stood a man and a girl. The man wore a black cloak and suit. And then there was that white mask upon his face. As soon as Legend laid eyes on it, he was curious. Perhaps far too curious for that matter.

Chase walked down the stream loving the feeling of the freezing cold water on his bare feet. It was a rare sunny day in the winter and while Chase normally didn't like the sun he had been cooped up inside for too long. It felt nice to be outside again. He almost felt content for once. Amazing how the simplest things could bring so much joy. Still Chase knew he could not enjoy the water for much longer. He had training to get to.
A little bit farther down the river Chase noticed a group of girls and a guy wearing a mask. Intrigued he waded through the water towards them "Hello!" He called out, "Lovely day isn't it."

Phantom turned to look at the teen boy as he waded through the water toward Felicity and himself. He gave the boy the best smile he could muster and replied, "Indeed it is a wonderful day," then he asked, "What is your name, anyhow?" He thought, 'So much for having a quiet walk alone.' He also noticed the other teen boy, not too far behind the other. He saw and felt the other boy's eyes boring into the mask, too curious. Far too curious.

Legend was distracted from the mask when Chase announced his presence, "Hello, Chase!" he called to the other magician. He didn't know the girl that stood with the strange man with the mask. Perhaps this was going to get interesting, of course everything was interesting with Chase around.

Chase waded through the water closer to the group examining them as he did so. The girl looked like a peasant but considering the man next to her Chase doubted she was average. The mask wearing man himself didn't seem to thrilled at Chase's. Still the man managed to pull together a small and ask for Chase's name.
Before Chase could reply however he heard a voice calling his name. After a second or two of surprise Chase saw Legend coming up the river bank, "Well as Legend over there just said I am Chase."
Hopping out of the river Chase held out his hand and asked, "And who are you two?"

The boys name, as Phantom found at that moment, when the other boy who seemed to curious had spoken up, was Chase. Phantom thought that is was a very strange name, then again so was his own, and the boy, Legend. Despite the face he would have preferred a walk alone he saw Chase's had extend and say, "And who are you two?" Phantom took Chase's hand, rather stubbornly, and answered, "Call me Erik." He had only used his real name because he had told Felicity that, that was his name, so with her right there next to him it was hardly likely he could lie to Chase. He let go of Chase's hand and let it fall back to his side.

Legend jogged up beside Chase in time to hear the man wearing the mask say his name was Erik. Legend gave the man a good-natural smile and said, "Chase probably already told you who I was but, my name is Legend." He looked at the girl and smiled, he turned to look at a tree as a bird fluttered into it. Then he looked back at the two in front of him. There was silence.

Lillian saw Felicity standing with two teenage boys and a man, wearing a white mask. She didn't really care what was underneath, it was probably personal, so she won't ask. She just walked up beside Felicity and smiled, "I'm Lillian Nile." She had heard the two teenage boys introduce themselves as Legend and Chase. The man had answered, as she came up, his name was Erik.
