Dreamer allowed Merlin to leave the mess of a situation he had created , and decided to wait for Chase. After a good time though, Dreamer began to doubt Chase's intentions. Chase was just hovering in the air, defenseless, and obviously lost in whatever activity he had involved himself in. It could not have been as serious as he threatened, the power levels of the spell were too low to be considered disasterous.
Dreamer turned to leave, turning his back to Chase, deciding to leave him in his misery. Dreamer wished he could conquer Chase's pain for him, yet he knew it was a necessary pain. Chase would have abused his power, and that could not have been allowed. After walking for about five minutes, Dreamer began to let his spell loose.
Then he felt it.
All at once, there was a surge of power as the winds picked up. The Attack on Camelot had officially begun. Dreamer saw the clouds roll in, and felt the wind beat against his defenseless body. Chase had officially come clean with his threat, he had brought father sky to Camelot.
"Son of a-" Dreamer bit his lip as he contemplated what he would have to do. He could think of nothing though, nothing that his magic could do to prevent the attack. It was an elemental based magic, Dreamer specialized in white and dark magics, both of which would be impractical to use at such a large scale. At least, if Dreamer wanted to live.
Dreamer had only one option, and that was to disrupt the source. Dreamer had to knock out Chase, removing him from the equation, and hopefully end the spell. Gathering his magic in his palms, Dreamer hoped to catch Chase off guard. Shadows began to form as Dreamer focused both his light and dark magics together, adding their strengths to counter their weaknesses.
When his spell was charged, Dreamer extended his palms and shot out at least a dozen balls of focused energy in quick succession. Each of them heading straight for their target, Chase.

Chase revelled in the storms power as he indiscriminately destroyed the ground below him. Finally he had a chance to make Dreamer and all of Camelot pay for how they had mistreated him. No longer would Chase be pushed to one side always second best. He would take the top position now.
Chase felt Dreamer's magic below him. It was ironic that they the two of them hated each other and yet could instinctively recognize each others magic. Chase wondered what Dreamer was planning. Surely he realized that he couldn't stop the storm.
Chase's questions were answered as several balls made of some sort of combination of white and black magic shot towards him. Chase remembered the last time Dreamer had created such an attack. Chase's only chance had lain in his darkfire. Still he didn't want to even try to create that here. Not while he was controlling the storm it was far to likely one of the spells would backfire on him. Chase had no intention of dying here.
Chase realized he had to act fast and instantly decided to try to destroy the balls before they reached him. Lightning arched from the sky striking the balls. A shockwave spread from the area and Chase was pushed back slightly by the force. He hadn't realized just how much power Dreamer had packed into the things. Luckily the mix if white and black magic was unstable.
Chase was just about to return his attention to the storm when he noticed that he had missed one of the balls. He desperately pulled up his shields and tried to fly up as it sped towards him. The impact of the ball hitting him was like being slammed into a brick wall.
Chase was thrown backwards clutching his chest feeling blood running over his fingers. Luckily he seemed to be in shock as he didn't feel much pain. Just a strangeness.
"I'll get you for that!" He screamed at Dreamer.
Chase started his counter attack instantly realizing that he had to kill Dreamer before his pain incapacitated him. Now Chase knew where Dreamer was it shouldn't be a problem. Manipulating the storm he slowly turned its fiercest wind and rain right on where Dreamer stood. The heavy rain and destructive wind would blind him and prevent him locating Chase again. Once again Chase released the lightning this time letting it ark towards Dreamer.

Dreamer couldnt see the direct hit against Chase's chest, having to duck his head from the light caused by the explosions' above him. He was able to see the storm slowly move, and felt the winds begin to pick up. He had just enough time to conjure a shield before the storm came upon him in full force. The storm tested his shield, yet it was the lightning that caught him off guard.
It struck his shield, and shattered it. The magic was able to absorb most of the impact, but Dreamer was sent to his knees from the pain. At his knees is where he stayed, the storm made sure of it. Soon he was resting on his forearms, thinking ever so quickly about his next move.
Dreamer could have been crying, but he couldnt tell behind the rain. All he could do was wait for his death, staring at his shadow that kept disappearing. "Wait" he thought, "A shadow?". A plan began to spread like wildfire in Dreamer's consience, but he had only a moment to act. As the next flash of in the sky casted light upon the earth, Dreamer disappeared.
For several moments he was gone, until he fell from the sky. Dreamer used his own shadow to hop to another in the clouds. Then he began to fall, unheard from the storm raging aroung him. It was dangerous, mosty because it was difficult to see, but it was his only chance. When he saw Chase in the sky, he lunged for him in the sky.
Catching him around his stomach, and pinning his arms to his sides, Dreamer began to carry them both back down to solid ground.

Chase grinned in anticipation for Dreamer's defeat. Just a little bit more and Dreamer would be crushed. Dreamer had been thrown to his knees by the lightning and there was more on the way. Chase wouldn't let Dreamer claim any sort of victory this time. Dreamer's defeat would be Chase's first step away from his old life and towards a new one. No longer would he allow anyone to hold him back. Not even Merlin the mage Chase had believed to be the strongest in the land. Still he knew he had to end this fight fast before he lost any more blood.
Before Chase could manipulate more lightning at Dreamer he vanished. Despite his disappointment Chase couldn't say he was surprised. Dreamer had recognised that he couldn't win and had fled. Cowardly though the move was it also ensured Dreamer's survival. Chase couldn't fault Dreamer for running away in the face of his obviously superior power.
Suddenly just as Chase was about to turn and leave something wrapped itself around his stomach and arms. He looked down at Dreamer uncomprehending what had happened for a couple of seconds until it hit him. Dreamer hadn't fled after all. Instead he had tried a desperate manoeuvre. Chase's overconfidence had once again led to him being outwitted. Still this battle wasn't over yet.
Chase started struggling trying to lift his arms out of Dreamer's vice-like grip. Luckily Dreamer had gripped him below his wound or else Chase might have been incapacitated by the wound. A mixed blessing was that the blood was mixing with the rain making Chase's and Dreamer's arms slippery. Chase was sure that given some time he would be able to slip out of grip. It galled him that he couldn't simply blast Dreamer with magic. Controlling the storm and staying airborne where all he could manage and there was no way to hurt Dreamer with the storm without hitting Chase as well. Nor could he fly loops trying to shake Dreamer off since doing so would almost definitely cause more damage to Chase's wound.
"Why do you ruin everything!" Chase screamed at Dreamer in his desperation. "What did I do that causes you to attempt to destroy everything I desire."

"Why do you ruin everything!...What did I do that causes you to attempt to destroy everything I desire."
Chase's voice held a sort of wild madness to it, and his words lashed out at him. The words struck him deep, Dreamer didn't realize the guilt that would come with his actions. In an effort to save countless others, Dreamer was sacrificing Chase, and everything he ever had. Dreamer closed his eyes as he squeezed harder, feeling himself slip away. In earnest, Dreamer said the only thing he could say, "I'm sorry".
With the words said, Dreamer began to sing his spell to chase, who was helpless to stop him.
"Sleep right, goodbye, when you wake, everything, will be right".
Dreamer pushed forward with his sleep spell, knocking Chase unconscious. That is when all hell broke loose. Chase had been the one keeping them afloat, now he was not. They plunged to the earth, and Dreamer had to act fast in order to save them. Shadows danced all around him, giving him an opening.
"Gates of darkness and light, Push us forward, Out of sight"
Dreamer and Chase disappeared through the shadows, and Dreamer jumped a few before he was able to settle on the ground. He placed Chase on the ground, and stared. He now had to decide what to do with the boy. His best options was to kill him, yet the thought seemed so vile. He couldn't find the cause though, was it that he couldn't simply kill his unarmed opponent? or was it something much more personal? Could he simple not kill chase because of some misplaced kinship with the boy?. He couldn't decide, all he knew was that he couldn't kill him.
Inspecting his wound, Dreamer touched it with his hand and sung out the curse, and healed the scrap. The wound had been deep, but nothing too life threatening, the paralysis would have been the killer. Healed but asleep, Dreamer decided he would leave Chase there, on the ground. He couldn't take chase, Camelots traitor, back into the city walls. They would kill him.
Lightning struck hard nearby.
Dreamer looked up in alarm, and realized that the storm had not settled. Dreamer thought that without its source of power, it source of control, that the storm would simply disappear. Yet, the opposite seemed to have been the case. Without Chase to guide it, nature had taken over, and destruction was the outcome. Dreamer knew he needed to act fast, but he didn't know what he could do. He wasn't an elemental mage, not like Chase.
But he was a mage of Darkness.
Dreamer lashed out with his senses and sought the darkness, finding a trace of it still in the storm. Dreamer sung out of his spell, and grabbed a hold of the dark connection. He didn't expect the impact of that choice. He was brought to his knees as the full weight of the spell hit him. The storm had built up on its own, it was too much for him, he would be overcome. He felt it begin in his fingertips, the electricity, the wind, the elemental aspect of the spell starting to creep into him. They would consume his power, and then Camelot would be destroyed from it.
Then the unexpected happened, he fought back. Dreamer found, as soon as the elements started to take him under, a rush of power. It now felt as if he had never even fought, that he was three times the mage he ever was. With this new power, Dreamer lashed out at the storm, grabbed a hold of it, and crushed it. Instantly, the storm began to disperse until the sky was clearer. Dreamer laughed at the moment, something unexplained had happened and he had actually saved Camelot. Dreamer sought the power that had aided him so well, but could not find a human source. Surely it was Merlin?
Wrong.
Dreamer reached his hand down and touched the cold grass beneath him, and felt the life echo through him. The power began to drain away, and he was left with aches and sores that he never had before. Yet, he still felt whole. The pieced began to click as Dreamer looked back at Chase, and began to think. How could they both be so alike, and yet so different?
How could Chase be the caster of the Skies? And Dreamer, of the Earth.
Dreamer shook his head as he walked over to chase to push back his hair and look at the boy one last time, and then turn away. He would have to make it to Camelot, there were arrangements to be made, and changes to begin. Dreamer couldn't take his new position lightly, he would never let another become what he made Chase, he would make the guild and Camelot a better place.
