((Aww!))
Casalynn was intrigued to hear what Dreamer thought magic derived from. She had never thought about it that deeply, maybe magic did come from the heart? Or from the soul? Maybe it was hereditary. Who knows? It was either a gift you had or you didn’t and what you chose to do with it was of your own doing, although sometimes she wished she was without this particular gift. She didn’t believe she actually had a use for it, it was more like a spare part than anything she found useful and she lacked the proper tuition to tame it; she had no interest in doing so. She’d have preferred herself to be ‘normal’ as she found her emotions often got entangled with her magic which was never a good thing.
“Thanks†She gratefully accepted Dreamer’s jacket and placed it loosely around her shoulders, keeping out the best of the prickling cold and the steadily falling rain. The gentle pitter patter of the raindrops hammered against the leaves overhead, the already formed puddles of murky water were beginning to expand and she could feel the cool water slide down her face. “Wifdriifan forfeored gerignan†She whispered, the rain that was beginning to fall around herself and Dreamer began to repel, missing them and falling by their side without passing them first. The water seemed to steer away and run down an invisible barrier that was protecting them from the falling weather.
Again as it had done before, her eyes glazed over drowning out the brilliant blue to be taken over by a brilliant white. Her pupils dilated until they began to dim, stretching out across her eye until the black had morphed into white; she blinked slowly, ridding herself of the temporary loss of vision before they were back to normal. Her white eyes began to brighten, the black in the centre of her eye became evident once more and the sky-blue that surrounded it took over once again. She showed none of the quiet satisfaction on her face but at least now they weren’t getting wet. She began to scan the depths of her mind for the origin of this spell yet couldn’t quite remember how or even when she had learnt it.
“So, when will you be performing in the Ram again? I’m going to make sure I don’t miss another display of your musical talent†She smiled, pulling Dreamer’s jacket over her shoulders again as it was beginning to slip.

Dreamer looked up as the rain poured down on them to cool down his face, which had warmed up and grown red. He wasn't good around females, especially when his teenage mind took over his thought process. He sighed, feeling the cool touch of the rain against his skin. He enjoyed the rain and couldn't understand why no one else seemed to.
He closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the liquid running down his face, until it suddenly stopped. He had heard Casalynn muttering something, and when he opened his eyes and looked over, he was shocked by what he saw. Casalynn's eyes had turned white, pure white, different from the gold that often symbolized a mage using magic.
His mouth fell over for a minute, even as she came back to consciousness and blinked. She looked confused, but soon shook off the look. That confused Dreamer, and he was going to ask her a question, but she beat him to the punch.
So, when will you be performing in the Ram again? I'm going to make sure I don't miss another display of your musical talent
Dreamer blushed again, and had to look away from her so he didnt show her. He felt like an idiot, blushing like a child every time she complimented him, what was wrong with him. Unfortunately, he didn't have the rain to hide his face with anymore. "I..I should be playing tomorrow night" Dreamer said.

Casalynn hadn't noticed how late it was beginning to get. She had lost complete track of time and began to wonder how long they had actually been out here. She had been in the forest since sun-rise and hadn't actually initially planned to be out for so long. But time with Dreamer, it seemed to fly. She had barely even thought about returning back but maybe it was best to set off now before it turned dark. The forest held many dangers and risks so in order to avoid them she knew going back slightly earlier was probably the best step to take. The venture out here into the wooded area with Dreamer had been fruitful and she had learnt a lot about magic. Yet even better she had gotten to know Dreamer a lot better.
"Good. I'll probably come and see you then." She smiled, standing up from her sitting position on the ground and dusting the imaginery dirt and mud off herself. She was glad Dreamer had not moved on from performing in the Ram as she, much like the other residents of Camelot, really enjoyed the music that he played. Her spell broke as she lost concentration, allowing the rain back to hit them. Her hair was just starting to dry yet seconds to being exposed to the rain again became damp and sodden. She shook her head, expelling some of the rain that had clung to her brown locks and immediatly felt lighter for doing so. "Ugh, I don't like getting wet" She moaned, squeezing some more of the water that her hair had began to collect.
"I think we should be getting back? Wouldn't want to be leaving too late and plus you have your performance to attend to tommorow" Casalynn turned round, approaching her horse of which was tied loosely to a tree; his reigns flopping loosely by his head. She patted him affectionately on the neck, lifting his head up to break him away from the temptation of eating the rest of the shrubs and bulbs of growing plants that stood underfoot. She walked around to the tree, undoing her complicated knot and wrapping her hands tightly around the leather ropes so he would not complain. Bassett snorted in irratation as the wet and the rain dampened his brown, shining mane and slid down his face, dripping off his chin. "Sorry Bassett, time to go" She said bursting his bubble and pulling him away from his zone of relaxation to take him back to the hectic world that was Camelot.

Good. I'll probably come and see you then
Dreamer jumped a little, surprised by the sudden touch of cold rain against his skin. He felt chilled for a second, due to the sudden change in temperature, until his body temperature changed to match the outside rain better. He looked back and watch Casalynn ring out her hair, comment on her distaste for rain, and leave to free her horse.
Dreamer sighed
In all honesty, although each comment and compliment Casalynn seem to make Dreamer blush, he was really enjoying the evening. It was rare for him to get a moment of spare time to rest and relax. He was a very busy individual. Not only that, but he especially liked spending time with Casalynn. He was starting to grow attached to her, which was most likely not the best for her.
Dreamer curled up in a sitting ball and planted his head between his knees for a moment, trying to take a moment to think. When he figured Casalynn was done untying her horse from the tree, he rose and walked over to her. He figured he could at least weasel a little more time walking back to Camelot.

After Casalynn had finished securing Bassett's saddle and reigns she elegantly mounted her house and placed her feet comfortably in the stirrups. She tugged firmly but gently on the reigns, pulling her horses head up to detatch him from the grass he had embedded himself in. He finished off chewing his moutful of damp, fresh grass and snorted in annoyance at how abruptly his enjoyable evening had come to an end. Bassett scraped his hooves against the ground and shook his body to try and rid himself of the tack he was wearing and Casalynn who was sitting on his back. "Hey, none of that" She tapped him lightly in the ribs to give him a gentle reminder of who was boss. He soon settled and whinnied loudly before turning himself round upon Casalynn's demand.
"Come on slowpoke!" Casalynn shouted playfully back to Dreamer, waiting for him to join her. She could see him walking over now and began to break Bassett into a very slow trot so that Dreamer could walk with ease beside her. Bassett attempted to pick up a faster pace in his haste to return back to Camelot and to return back to his stable. For he knew he would have a mound of haylage awaiting him; her horse tended to think with his stomach rather than his brain. "Oi" She pulled back on the reigns to make him slow down which he did so reluctantly. With a quick angry swish of his tail he carried on walking at the pace Casalynn had asked.
"Sorry, he's a bit grumpy. I'd be careful not to stand behind him, he'll probably kick you" Cass warned, knowing that the foul mood Bassett was in right now he would buck and lash out at the nearest thing he could connect with. She was also careful not to run into anything that would spook him out as Bassett had a tendancy to withdraw and balance on his hind legs in his attempt to get away and rid himself of the extra weight that he was carrying. She knew he wasn't too fond of fires, the crackle of burning wood had never sat well with him neither had the clang of swords; Bassett was an ex-cavalry horse who never quite made the grade.
"Ah, where are we going?" Cass said, hoping Dreamer had a better memory than she did as she couldn't quite remember how she had got here and which directions she was meant to take to get back to Camelot.

It was when Casalynn asked him where they were that he realized, he had no idea. He looked left, right, left again, and then at Casalynn with a look of puzzlement. He was having so much fun, taking a break with Casalynn, that he had completely forgot how he had gotten there.
He looked around again, and was feeling that they should head west, but wasnt sure. Sighing, he moved forward a bit, a devilish grin on his face. He was going to take them west, but not without a little fun. Turning back to Casalynn he closed his eyes and did his best to look like he was deep in concentration.
Under his breath, he started to sing a simple song that would help him with the fun he was about to have. The tip of his index finger on his right hand started to glow as he pointed it and rose it to point ahead of him. And then he took a deep breath, and with a serious look on his face, he began to spin.
Yes....spin
He spun in a circle for a full thirty seconds before he finally broke out into laughter and stopped spinning, ending the spell and causing him to wobble a bit. He opened his eyes a little as he smiled at Casalynn and pointed west, "That may milady" he said, standing straight and trying to look as official as he could, while smiling broadly.
He was really hoping she didn't mind him acting like a fool infront of her.

Casalynn tried to look for something that would tell her the way back. Something that she recognised or a forged path o the ground in which they could follow. Judging from the long silence that hung in the air after she had asked the question, she very much doubted that Dreamer knew the way either. So they really were lost. Great. Cass pulled back on her reigns in order to stop the horse as Dreamer driftedd off in front, obiovulsy trying to pin point the way back to Camelot. From this, she thought nothing of it. Coming to the conclusion that he was just scouting ahead to try and find a route back.
She followed close on his tail and stopped Bassett when Dreamer stood still. She heard him mutter a small incantation although couldn't quite pick up the words that he was saying. In all honesty she had no idea what he was doing although hoped whatever it was would help them get back to Camelot before it started getting dark. Her face showed a certain air of confusion as the very tip of his index finger began to glow, what was he doing? She kept her eyes steadily focused on him trying to figure out what he was doing. What he did next though was something she wasn't expecting and struggled to keep the humour and disbelief off her face.
Her eyes followed him as Dreamer began to spin; a sight that looked incredibly humourous. She produced an amused laugh as he continued to swirl with his glowing finger. Eventually though, Dreamer stopped and pointed out the direction, telling her that the direction in which they needed to go was straight ahead. Her horse was a little spooked by this cherade but egged him on past Dreamer although snorted in his disapproval of this act. "Nice little display. You know, you should be a Jester, or a Village Idiot..." She joked laughing and leaning over from her horse to give Dreamer a playful nudge.
Her horse began to follow the direction in which Dreamer had set and slowed to a steady pace i order for him to catch up.

Dreamer bowed again as Casalynn commented on his performance, saying he could be a jester or a village idiot. She nudged him and moved forward, obviously playing with him. He trudged behind and she waited for him to catch up. Dreamer looked up and smiled, "why would i be a Jester? I wouldn't be able to see you in such private manner".
That ended a little more emotional than he thought, and hurried on with what he was going to say. "And why would i be a village idiot, i would have to tie myself down to a single village, if anything, id like to be the Camelot Idiot".

(Ah, I'm so sorry! I didn't notice you posted haha)
Casalynn let out a small laugh, whilst trying to keep control of her horse, steering him towards the direction of what she felt was home. Bassett began to slow down now wanting to savour his freedom and not wanting to be tied up in his stable again until the next time she felt up and ready for going out. She kicked him gently on his belly, encouraging him to pick up speed so that nightfall would not advance on them too quickly. Casalynn knew the pair would meet up again so she became exited and anxious for the next time they would arrange a gathering. She found it hard to invisage herself that she would ever enjoy spending this much time with another human being as she was not the most well practised person in social events.
"Yeah, I wouldn't like that" She said honestly in response to his remark of being a Jester. Cass began to wonder what she would be doing right now if she had never seen the likes of Dreamer. If she was unknown to his presence in Camelot, would she be a different person? She liked to think that Dreamer brought out the best in her, distingushing all negative thoughts and emotions spurring her on to be the more optimistic person that she knew was locked deep down inside her. Even though she had been through alot in her few years of life, she became glad that all her lives events had resulted in getting to know Dreamer.
"Well, your my Camelot village idiot and I don't think I'm willing to share you" She said smiling with a hint of amusement and happiness in her words. "Plus, I think your talents are best used put on display as a musician." She said backpeddling realising what she had just said was maybe a little soppy and mushy resulting in her cheeks to glow a dim shade of berry pink. She turned her face slightly so Dreamer could not see her temporary embarrassment and let the cool breeze wash over her face and cool her slight nerves.
"One more thing before we part ways; you promise we'll meet up again?" She asked now re-directing her eyes to meet with Dreamers to anxiously await his answer.

Well, your my Camelot village idiot and I don't think I'm willing to share you
There it was, Dreamer had felt it, he wouldn't miss something like that. His heart must have skipped a beat. He grabbed his chest as his head snapped quickly at attention to Casalynn, searching for the meaning behind her words. He couldn't read anything, her head was turned and unfortunately for him, the wind made his eyes tear up so he couldn't see quiet clearly. Darn it, why did his eyes have to get so sensitive on him so suddenly.
Plus, I think your talents are best used put on display as a musician
Dreamer didn't realize it, so he couldn't hide the look of his face, but there was disappointment on his face. Dreamer hadn't expected her next comment to be on his musical talents. For a moment Dreamer resented his gifts, having given Casalynn something else to talk about. Then she turned and looked at him, straight into his eyes, pink still slightly on her cheeks and asked,"One more thing before we part ways; you promise we'll meet up again?"
Dreamer stared at her for a moment before saying, "I promise". He smiled and turned his head, a little more content now, with a lot less disappointment on his face. "Unfortunately for you though, i don't plan on leaving your side quiet yet, not until i see you safely home".

Casalynn felt reassured upon Dreamer's promise. She hoped he wouldn't be one of those men who agreed to something like that and didn't follow through on it, but somehow she greatly doubted Dreamer was like that. Casalynn's various encounters with men had been most oftenly of the selfish and arrogant kind, so she struggled greatly in seeing the better side to men that they presented. Dreamer didn't seem to be any of those things though and instead actually cared if she hurt herself or cared what she was feeling. An unlikely attribute in men of this age and time that she had ever encountered. Her fondness of him seemed to grow by day and when she was apart from him, no don't be stupid she muttered in her head; she actually missed him.
"Unfortunately for you though, i don't plan on leaving your side quiet yet, not until i see you safely home".
Her smile grew faintly, at least he wasn't going to leave her just yet. She tapped her horse gently on his side to spur him into a quicker moving pace as he was beginning to slow in his futile attempts to eat the lush grass now appearing on their rapidly overgrowing trial. "I assure you I'm more than capable of seeing myself home... but as it's you i'd be more than happy to accept your company." She said before pausing, drawing in a lungful of cooling air in order to stop her heavy eyes from closing. The dark atmosphere was beginning to trigger her sleep deprived state and she was looking forward to collapsing on her bed and attempting at a few hours sleep unlike the previous nights that had failed miserably.
"I was rather hoping you'd say that actually, I haven't had the opportunity yet to say how much I've enjoyed spending time with you. It's not often I let myself get this close to people but for this instance I'm glad I have." She said providing dreamer with a rare insight to her mind. She wasn't the sort of person that tend to open up and share her secrets but she honestly believed if she ever did need to spill out her worries and anxieties, Dreamer would be the first people she would go to. Her mind was absent, blank and white showing the wounds of decades of missed memories. She hated the fact she could not recall anything about her life until her move to Camelot, her family, her friends, her childhood. But slowly and surely she was coming to live with it. It was people like Dreamer that made her think living here in Camelot was not so bad at all.
"Thanks" She muttered, truly appreictaive that Dreamer had made her see the world in such a different light. He had made her see the world was not truly made up of evil and that there were some bright shimmers of hope in which she was able to follow. She smiled unknowingly, tightening her grip around her horses reigns and gently leading him over into a easterly direction.

His mind was mush at this point, and his heart was going to jump from his chest. He tried to stop himself, he really did, tried to put his mind somewhere else, but he couldn't seem to do it. His mind kept going over what she said to him, she liked spending time with him. Not only that, but she wanted to spend time with him more than anyone else.
He was smiling like a buffoon now, a very stupid stupid buffoon. He turned his head and looked up at Casalynn and said, "Cassalyn I..." Dreamer was caught dead in his tracks when he looked at her. Hurt. That's what came to mind when he looked at her. She was smiling, looking as if something was off her chest, and yet he couldn't get the message of pain outside of his head. He looked forwards and began thinking again.
What if he liked Casalynn? He did, he really did know he did, and maybe she did too, but that didn't matter did it? She just admitted that he was one of the few people she grew close too, trusted. Would he ruin that if he tried to draw in a relationship. Not only that, but he didn't lead a very carefree and safe life. Someone was always out to get him, and if they knew how close he felt to Casalynn, she could be harmed.
His face deepened a bit, he couldn't let that happen. He sighed, without realizing it, "I hate the complications of life" he thought.
